31-year-old man killed in Southeast DC shooting, police say

WASHINGTON (7News) — A 31-year-old Southeast D.C. man has died after Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers found him shot early Tuesday morning.

MPD officers were called to the 300 block of Anacostia Road SE just before 12:30 a.m., where they found the man with a gunshot wound. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he later died, officials added.
