Aug. 26 (UPI) — Deputies in Colorado’s Weld County wrangled an escaped emu — the second such incident to occur within a single five-day period.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched to the Camfield area on Friday to capture a loose emu.
The incident occurred just days after Weld County deputies wrangled a different escaped emu Aug. 18 in Lakewood, about 60 miles away.
