‘They are running everywhere.’ Albany airport has a rodent problem.

COLONIE — It had been a long day’s journey into night at Albany International Airport for Jeremy Truesdell.

He arrived at the airport around 4:30 a.m. last Wednesday and by 7 p.m. that evening he was still there as successive delays prevented him from returning home to southern Georgia after spending several weeks in the area visiting family.

Over the course of the day he had camped out at the Hudson Valley Beer Union, a bar and restaurant in Terminal B, not far from the gate from where he hoped his flight to Charlotte, N.C., would eventually depart…
