Butler pleaded guilty in Albany County Court to two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance. Through his plea, Butler confessed he had a loaded ghost gun, several high-capacity magazines, just over 27 grams of cocaine, and drug distribution paraphernalia when the Albany Police Department’s Community Response Unit raided his and his girlfriend’s home on February 26.
Butler’s girlfriend, Nateisha Watson, was also in the home at the time of the raid. Watson pleaded not guilty in Albany County Court to drug and weapon charges in March and faces a possible sentence of 15 years in prison.
