Builder loses thousands after Pleasant View construction site thefts

PLEASANT VIEW, Tenn. (WKRN) — A string of thefts at a Pleasant View construction site has left a local builder out thousands of dollars, and deputies asking for the community’s help.

Bumpus Builders owner, Jassan Bumpus, said several items have disappeared from his construction sites in Cheatham County over the past few months. Items like lumber, toilets, and $5,000 worth of shingles.

But just this last week, an air conditioning unit was stolen from a site between Davidson and Cheatham County that will be named Eagle Ridge.
