Carolina Theatre Kicks Off First Halloween Film Series Since 1978

After 47 dark years, Charlotte’s Carolina Theatre springs back with eight spine-chilling films this October. The series starts on Oct. 3 with Bela Lugosi’s iconic Dracula from 1931.

“There’s no better place to watch history’s most beloved horror movies than in Charlotte’s historic theatre,” said Sean Seifert, the Carolina Theatre’s executive director, per WCNC. “Just beware: Our theatre has its own off-screen ghost.”
