FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Indiana Tech’s Talwar College of Engineering and Computer Sciences has secured over $500,000 in research grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Ball Venture Fund.
One of the NSF grants supports a national initiative to enhance STEM education in high schools. Dr. Xiaoli (Lucy) Yang, dean of Talwar College, will lead the project, collaborating with the University of Maine and Southern Methodist University. This project, running from August 19, 2025, to May 31, 2028, aims to engage students through AI, game modules, and hands-on experiences.
