LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Gas prices in west central Kentucky jumped by six cents over the past week to $2.83 per gallon, according to an AAA news release.
AAA added the national average also went up by three cents to $3.16. However, both averages are still lower than a year ago, when the average price per gallon was $2.98 in Kentucky and $3.35 nationally.
