Traffic delineators separate grocery stores in East Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new safety measure installed between two East Nashville grocery stores should help reduce traffic issues.

Eastland Avenue between Gallatin Road and N 12th Street is a frequent site for traffic backlogs. The section of roadway contains facing entrances for the grocery stores Kroger and ALDI, and drivers routinely dart back and forth between both stores on their weekly stock trips.

But the constant traffic also leads to more crashes, including from those leaving either store and turning left onto Eastland Avenue…
