We purchased a home in The Villages because we liked the demographics. We have grandchildren and it’s fun when they visit us here. We are also responsible adults and insist our visitors are respectful and follow the rules. I don’t want someone’s grandkids jumping on my head off the side of the pool. So, I go to the age-restricted pools during school holidays. I love children, but I don’t want to live with them all the time. I understand there can be special circumstances, but 30 days is a reasonable amount of time to make other arrangements.
I also think anyone who allows a young child to drive their golf cart should be ticketed. And yes, I agree The Villages needs to enforce the rules that we bought here for.
