Labor Day weekend will bring a short pause to some city services. The Yard Waste Center will be closed from Saturday through Monday, September 1, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 2, as noted on the City of Raleigh website.
During the closure, customers will not have the chance to dispose of their yard waste, nor will they be able to purchase mulch or other products from the center. As the city enjoys its well-earned Labor Day rest, the green refuse must wait patiently for the week to begin anew.
