WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – As Labor Day weekend approaches and people finalize their holiday plans, North Carolina’s Governor’s Highway Safety Program has launched its “Booze It and Lose It Campaign,” which will run through Sept. 7.
According to the National Safety Council, they estimate that more than 400 people could die in traffic crashes over Labor Day Weekend.
