WHEATON, Ill. (WGN) — A woman will remain behind bars after prosecutors allege she led suburban police on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle.
Molly Borowski, 31, of Chicago, faces a felony count of possessing a stolen motor vehicle, two felony counts of aggravated fleeing and eluding, and one count of possessing burglary tools following the early morning events of Tuesday, Aug. 26.
DuPage County prosecutors say that at around 3:20 a.m., a Villa Park police officer attempted to pull over a suspected stolen vehicle near the area of North Avenue and Joyce Avenue.
