A Twin Cities man with a lengthy criminal record is wanted for a new charge after he allegedly shot at a Chipotle worker in Minneapolis when asked to pay for his burrito bowl.
Prosecutors in Hennepin County last week charged Cody J. Schwendeman, 32, of Brooklyn Center, with one count of 1st-degree aggravated robbery in connection with the incident on June 28 at the Chipotle at 2600 Hennepin Avenue.
Minnesota court records show Schwendeman has a lengthy criminal record, including prior robbery convictions. The recent charge carries a nationwide arrest warrant, with authorities noting his whereabouts are unknown.
