ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WGN) — The Village of Arlington Heights is considering a change to regulations on the use of public property, which critics argue would effectively criminalize homelessness, and it all stems from one specific bench near a train station in the northwest suburb.
The bench in question sits across from the Arlington Heights Metra Station on Vail Avenue, where a woman without a home often spends most of her time.
