Kansas City mayor pushes security requirements after violent weekend downtown

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Downtown residents are questioning their safety after another round of violence in a parking lot near the T-Mobile Center over the weekend. City officials said they’re not staying silent and expressing what they believe should be done to address this latest crime.

On Monday, cars were towed from a parking lot near Grand Boulevard in the Power & Light District after a deadly overnight shooting on Sunday.
