After finally making it out to Edwards Apple Orchard in Poplar Grove to get my sticky fingers on a bag of apple cider donuts, someone else decided to help me finish the bag. And no, it wasn’t my boyfriend.
I orderd a half dozen of sugared donuts at Edwards, brought them home to eat later, and only got to enjoy half of them because someone else thought it’d be a good idea to eat half the bag without asking. i don’t blame her, though. She has good taste!

My boyfriend’s dog, Sprinkles, was found looking pretty guilty on his couch after my bag of donuts went missing. I set the bag down on his TV stand, showered, and came out to the bag underneath the TV stand. Instantly, I knew something was off. The bag was looking a little rough when I picked it up off the floor. I knew it wasn’t my boyfriend because he doesn’t eat sweets like that.
Within seconds of me walking away from the bag, Sprinkles treated herself to nearly three whole donuts. No hesitation. No second thoughts. No problem getting a stomach ache as long as she got her paws on my donuts…
