Two women are hospitalized after a wreck caused a load of bricks to rain down on their car following a crash involving a semi truck and another car.
The accident happened just before 8 a.m. on Monday, August 25th on Highway 290 in Houston, Texas.
According to KHOU11, a Camry was traveling west on 290 when it crashed into the flatbed semi truck hauling bricks. The crash caused the truck driver to lose control and spin around, sending its trailer over the concrete barrier and into the HOV lane. A car traveling in the HOv lane then crashed into the flatbed, causing the heavy load of bricks to rain down on their vehicle.
