Another round of rain is barreling toward the Alamo City, but the latest radar images show it could be more widespread Tuesday afternoon, August 26. Right as people get through the front door after work and picking up the kids, storm clouds likely will start to drop water over San Antonio.
It’s been a gloomy forecast for Central Texas over the past week and a half. Bouts of heavy rain and strong winds have downed power lines and tree limbs and filled creeks. For the most part, though, it’s been isolated storms covering small sections of the city. Now it may be more widespread, according to forecast radars from The Weather Channel.
