APD arrests woman for allegedly giving gun to teenager

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – There are new details involving a local mom arrested for assisting her 14-year-old “son-in-law.” The teenager was in a drug deal gone wrong and was robbed in the process.

On Saturday, Nicole Valenzuela called Albuquerque police to report her gun stolen.

Officers say she had given it to her daughter’s boyfriend for protection. He used it while buying a fake THC vape since she “didn’t want to go to a dispensary.”…
