PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — One man was pronounced dead, and a teen is still missing in two presumed drownings amid a western Washington heatwave.
On Friday evening, a paddleboarder at Medina Beach Park found an unresponsive man floating in the water about 50 yards from shore, according to the Bellevue Fire Department.
Bellevue Fire and Medina Police were able to bring the man to shore, but they were not able to revive him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s age is unknown…
