OHIO — A 16-year-old student was hospitalized Wednesday morning after being struck and dragged by a pickup truck while crossing the street, according to city officials.
The crash happened around 6:20 a.m. near the intersection of Center Street and Fairfax Avenue. Authorities said the teen was crossing when the 54-year-old driver of a pickup truck hit her, dragging her several feet before she was found underneath the vehicle.
First responders reported the girl was conscious and alert when she was taken to Lake West Hospital. Her injuries are considered non-life threatening…
