More than 70 shots fired, three homes struck by bullets in west side Detroit neighborhood

DETROIT (WWJ) — Detroit police are investigating after three homes were shot up in a neighborhood on the city’s west side, early Wednesday morning.

WWJ Newsradio 950’s Charlie Langton reports upwards of 70 shots were fired in the 17300 block of Mansfield Street, in the area of W. Outer Drive and W. McNichols.

“Multiple bullet holes in an SUV and at least three homes were shot at; shattered glass in front of the front door on one of the homes,” Langton said…
