City Rescue Mission opens new shelter in Lansing

LANSING, (Mich.) WLNS — The City Rescue Mission of Lansing is opening the doors of its newest shelter Tuesday night.

The mission says that by the end of the year, this new building could house more than 400 guests.

Tuesday, beds and the kitchen were being set up to accommodate guests for the first time, as the male residents from their other locations moved to the new facility, located at 415 West Kalamazoo Street.
