SUTTER COUNTY, Calif. — A collision between a sedan and a semi-truck in Sutter County resulted in the death of a 31-year-old Sacramento woman and a 30-year-old Sacramento woman with major injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol Yuba-Sutter Office, the 31-year-old was driving a 2025 Toyota Camry east on Obanion Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign. Her vehicle was struck by a southbound semi-truck on South George Washington Boulevard, driven by a 30-year-old man from Yuba City.
The collision killed the driver of the Camry upon impact. The 30-year-old passenger was initially transported to Adventist Health + Rideout Hospital before being moved to UC Davis Medical Center for advanced care…
