In rain, snow, and the heat of the August Ohio summer, Bob Warnimont never misses his daily watch over Fort Meigs Union Cemetery in Perrysburg.
“I’m in here every single day — sometimes twice a day,” said Mr. Warnimont, who showed a reporter and photographer from The Blade around the cemetery last week in a Gator utility vehicle. “I know 150 people in here.”
He keeps watch over his former Fire Chief Louis Wehde, best buddy Ray Frick, brother Dave, and uncle Art Eckhart, among others. He also looks for downed tree limbs or areas that need attention…
