Talks of plea bargain in Zack Scrivner case; case postponed yet again

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Zack Scrivner, the disgraced former county supervisor, was due in court Tuesday morning. He didn’t appear, but his attorney H. A. Sala was there.

Scrivner’s case was scheduled for 8:31 a.m. on Aug. 26 but wasn’t called until three hours later. Scrivner’s attorney and the Prosecutor for the Attorney General’s Office met behind closed doors in the judge’s chambers for about 30 minutes working out a possible plea bargain.

Afterwards, the case was continued to Oct. 16 in order to give Sala time to file a motion.
