Scout completes prayer trail at Real Life Sango to earn Eagle rank

CLARKSVILLE, TN – Gabriel Talbert of Scout Troop 503 completed a prayer trail for Real Life Sango’s new campus. Last fall Real Life Sango began preparing to move into their new building that was to be completed in December. After consulting with church leadership, Gabriel settled on creating a prayer trail for both his church and the surrounding Clarksville community to enjoy and to connect with God.

“I felt the church needed a quiet place for people to individually talk with God and convey their feelings.”

To complete his project, Gabriel, who is only 13, liaised with 12 local businesses, garnering more than $17,000 in materials and supplies.

Over the fall of 2024 and early spring of 2025, Gabriel mobilized the resources and support for his project. April, May and June were very busy months for him, balancing the end of seventh grade, band, sports and this project. Over those three months, Gabriel supervised multiple work crews, giving life to his vision as well as getting his hands dirty…
