Fort Wayne Councilmen call on City Attorney to address growing encampments

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Two Fort Wayne City Council members are calling for a new approach to address homeless encampments they say are straining downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.

Monday, Councilmen Russell Jehl and Scott Myers sent a letter to City Attorney Malak Heiny to look at different legal strategies and call on Mayor Sharon Tucker’s administration to create a plan.
