Home sales are officially underway in Attwater, a new 470-acre master-planned community developed by Bold Fox Development at the crossroads of Highway 290, FM 362, and Owens Road. For families in nearby Cypress and along the US 290 corridor, the project reflects just how quickly residential growth is reshaping the landscape west of Houston.
The community’s first phase includes 225 homesites, with plans to expand to more than 1,200. Model homes are now open from three well-known homebuilders: Empire Communities, HistoryMaker Homes, and Chesmar Homes. Each builder brings a different style and price point, with homes starting in the low $300,000s—well below the Houston-area average home price of $450,235 reported in June by the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR).
Empire has debuted two fully furnished models, showcasing designs for growing families starting in the mid-$300,000s. HistoryMaker is offering both 55- and 65-foot homesites, with models available to tour from the low $320,000s.
