Two Arrests Made in Connection to Mid-August Assault Outside Downtown Lincoln Bar

LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 25)–Medical records confirmed injuries to a 25-year-old Lincoln man stemming from an August 15 assault outside of a bar near 16th and “O” have prompted Lincoln Police to reclassify the incident to an aggravated assault.

That determination was done on Friday, according to LPD public information manager Erika Thomas, who says 19-year-olds Kyson Bellamy and Xavier Lynch, both of Lincoln, were determined to be the suspects, which led to probable cause being developed. Thomas says Bellamy and Lynch were arrested Monday after turning themselves in at the Lancaster County Jail and were booked for 1st-degree assault…
