Teen accused of bringing gun near Del Norte High School campus to stay in custody

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A teen accused of bringing a gun near a high school last week will remain in custody. According to the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office, the 15-year-old girl stole a firearm from a family member, then headed toward Del Norte High School.

Five guns found on APS students on Wednesday in unrelated incidents

When approached by officers, they said she handed the firearm to her boyfriend. She is charged with larceny of a firearm and unlawful carrying of a handgun by a person under 19.
