REDMOND, WA – Police report that seven individuals were arrested on Tuesday after unlawfully entering an executive office at Microsoft’s Redmond campus.
Officers responded at approximately 1 p.m. on August 26 after receiving a report of demonstrators gathered on a sidewalk outside the campus. Seven of the protesters entered Building 34, which houses the office of Microsoft President Brad Smith and other executives, barricading themselves inside an office and refusing to leave.
All seven were taken into custody and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and obstruction. No injuries were reported. Demonstrators remaining outside later moved to public property and eventually dispersed without additional arrests…
