Albany, NY (WRGB) — Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon announced today, 32-year-old Parrish Butler from Albany has been sentenced to nine years in state prison for possessing illegal guns and drugs. Parrish Butler received the sentence Tuesday from the Honorable Thomas Marcelle, following his guilty plea to multiple charges, including two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, and four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
The charges stem from a raid conducted by the Albany Police Department’s Community Response Unit on February 26. Officers searched the residence Butler shared with his girlfriend, Nateisha Watson, on the 700 block of Old South Pearl Street as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The search resulted in the recovery of a loaded ghost gun, a loaded semi-automatic pistol, multiple high-capacity magazines, and 27.3 grams of crack cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia used for distribution…
