Eastville Police Officer indicted, charged with $820k federal fraud, money laundering

Eastville Police Officer Jerry Keith Brady Jr. was indicted earlier on Monday in U.S. District Court in Norfolk for allegedly devising a scheme to defraud financial institutions and several individuals, identified in court papers only by their initials.

Brady, 39, of Belle Haven, is on administrative leave from the police department. Court documents state he could be held responsible for repaying nearly $820,000.
