Passenger ejected during Johns Island crash was found days later

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – The passenger of a vehicle involved in an Aug. 22 crash on Johns Island was found days later, according to law enforcement officials.

Deputies with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded to Fickling Hill Road around 7 p.m. that evening for reports of a crash.

While investigating the accident, the driver told an on-scene deputy that there was a passenger in the vehicle. Deputies searched the surrounding area and further questioned the driver, who then stated they “were the sole occupant,” according to the sheriff’s office…
