Crime Stoppers: Vehicle theft, property damage, and evidence tampering

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — This week on Crime Stoppers, police need your help identifying people who stole a vehicle and, separately, damaged property in Old Town, as well as tracking down a man wanted on a warrant out of Jackson for multiple crimes.

If you have information regarding the cases below, call Crime Stoppers of Mid-Michigan at (517) 483-STOP. You can remain anonymous.

Those who contact Crime Stoppers with information can receive an award of up to $1,000.

Vehicle Theft

The Lansing Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a suspect who stole a vehicle from the 5100 block of N Grand River Avenue on Aug. 15, 2025.

Property Damage

LPD is also asking for help identifying a suspect that spray painted buildings and damaged a vehicle on the 300 block of E Cesar E. Chavez Avenue during the early morning hours of July 30, 2025.

Ricky Darnell Patterson
