GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) says additional security will be in place at Germantown High School this week after an armed incident Tuesday afternoon.
Video viewed by WREG appears to show a student being pistol-whipped by one person, as he is kicked and beaten on the ground by a group outside the school. Someone yells “He’s got a gun” before the person taking the video runs away.
According to the district, the situation unfolded during dismissal, when a student was approached off-campus by two individuals not connected to the school. One of those individuals was reportedly carrying a weapon…
