The Miami Archdiocese and Archbishop Thomas Wenski are mourning with the rest of the country after a gunman opened fire on students attending mass at a Catholic school in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning, killing two children and leaving 17 other people injured.
In a statement, the Archdiocese said they “join in profound sorrow and prayerful solidarity” with the St. Paul-Minneapolis Archdiocese’s Annunciation Catholic Church.
“This tragic and senseless mass shooting on Wednesday, August 27, has brought grief to all the nation,” the statement read. “But before the grief of those families who mourn the loss of a child and those children and adults injured, words are inadequate.”…
