Florida girl narrowly escapes kidnapping on way home from school, police say

MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A young girl narrowly escaped a kidnapping as she was walking home from school in North Miami Thursday, officials said.

The girl was walking on Northeast 10th Avenue when she spotted a silver car parked near a construction site, according to an arrest report obtained by NBC 6 South Florida.

She noticed the same car as she got closer to her apartment complex, police said.
