Airplane disabled at Roanoke Airport; 2 on board not injured: Officials

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — An airplane at the Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport is disabled at the end of a runway, but neither of the two people on board were injured after an incident Wednesday morning, officials said.

According to the airport, Runway 6-24 is currently closed while an incident involving a “general aviation Barron aircraft” left the plane disabled at the end of the runway.
