Stockton’s Entertainment Venues Pump $38.7 Million into Local Economy

A new study confirms what many in Stockton already feel on event nights: the city’s entertainment venues are more than just places to catch a game, concert, or show — they’re powering our economy.

According to an economic impact report conducted by CSL International, Adventist Health Arena, Bob Hope Theatre, and Stockton Ballpark generated a combined $38.7 million in economic activity during Fiscal Year 2023. Together, the three venues hosted over 200 events, welcomed 300,000 attendees, and created a ripple effect of spending that reached businesses and families across the community.

A Rising Economic Powerhouse

The report shows that between July 2022 and June 2023, the venues contributed $25.6 million in direct spending (tickets, concessions, local purchases) and an additional $13.1 million in indirect and induced spending, such as hotels, restaurants, and retail.
