Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County Welcomes Andre Bogsan as New Director of Development

The Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County is welcoming a new Director of Development, Andre Bogsan, whose expertise in donor engagement and fundraising strategies is anticipated to play a pivotal role in the nonprofit’s future endeavors, this appointment was announced in a statement made public by the Friends of the Mounts Botanical Garden. Bogsan, a veteran in the nonprofit sector with a strong background in advancing the missions of organizations globally, steps into this role with the aim of fortifying the garden’s philanthropic relationships and supporting its growth, as reported in the statement.

Executive Director James May expressed his excitement about the new hire, stating, “His expertise in donor engagement, grant strategies and fundraising will be instrumental in advancing our mission and ensuring the garden’s continued growth and sustainability,” and Bogsan, for his part, is set to lead the charge on initiatives that will enhance the botanical garden’s offerings sharpen its cultural and horticultural significance for the community, and the visitors. “Our Master Plan vision is for a Mounts Botanical Garden that is bolder, more welcoming and more sustainable—without ever losing the magic of what makes this place special. Andre Bogsan brings to the table a diverse portfolio with more than 20 years of experience in institutional advancement, with tenures at notable organizations such as Greenpeace International, The Nature Conservancy, and La Amistad, where he was responsible for managing significant fundraising initiatives and developing key donor relationships.
