In this time period, from April 1st to June 30 of 2025, the auditor’s Bureau of Special Investigations looked into 1,153 cases, 143 of which were found to be overpayments with identified fraud. Auditor DiZoglio told 22News that these fraud cases involve people who do not need state services taking resources from those in need.
