CCISD’s Operation K.E.Y.S. walk marks 18 years of student outreach

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — With the new school year underway, Corpus Christi ISD leaders are once again focused on making sure every student is in class—and knows the district is there to support them.

Now in its 18th year, the district’s annual Operation K.E.Y.S. Walk will soon bring together officials and volunteers to visit families whose students have not enrolled or returned to school. The effort was recently recognized by Corpus Christi city leaders.
