Mega Saver, a convenience, fuel and cell phone retailer, has closed on the acquisition of more than 20 Kum & Go convenience stores in Iowa from c-store company Maverik Inc. All of the stores will be rebranded to Mega Saver within the next month or two, Kassie Schenck, social media manager for the retailer, told CSP Daily News.
Hot food programs will remain in place, and the company is expanding the merchandise selection, she said.
“As part of the transition, we are retaining all current employees and are thrilled to welcome them into the Mega Saver family,” Schenck said. “Customers can expect the same friendly faces they know, now with our unique product selections and everyday low prices.
