The nationwide Aldi grocery store chain is about to assemble a tight circle of its biggest “super fans,” and it comes with $1,700 in free groceries.

Aldi plans to launch an exclusive “Quarter Club” that will award 25 members with a year’s supply of free groceries, a “behind the scenes experience” in Aldi’s hometown, a custom varsity-style jacket and a chance to appear on ALDI’s social media, according to the company. Shoppers can enter through an online form, and they must write up to 200 words about “the boldest move you’ve made in the name of ALDI that sets you apart as a Super Fan.” Entries opened Monday and can continue through Friday. Applicants must also upload two photos that “help bring your fandom to life,” the submission form reads…
