LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office says someone shot at one of their deputies while they were looking for a wanted felon at 34th & Salem on Wednesday night, but the deputy was not hit, and there were no injuries reported.
LSO says the deputy was in an unmarked vehicle just after 10 p.m. when suspects opened fire at him, but he was able to drive away as “multiple bullets punctured the vehicle, ultimately disabling it, and forcing him to come to a stop.”
