Teen accused of serious gun and drug crimes receives probation

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Guns, fentanyl pills, and thousands of dollars in cash. That’s what investigators found on a local teen multiple times in the past year. Now, there are serious questions as to whether his punishment fits his crimes.

“If this was before federal court and he was an adult, the sentencing structure would put him away for the majority of his life,” Prosecutor Kristin Guin said.
