ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Comedian Leanne Morgan visited Asheville over the weekend for four shows she held at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center, bringing an economic boost with her.
“Attendees from large entertainment events bring net new dollars into our community’s local businesses. Major entertainment facilities and large-scale events continue to significantly boost Asheville’s quality of place and its economic vitality during the important summer season,” said Vic Isley, president and CEO of Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, in a news release.
